Overview
Koderra ("we", "us", "koderra.io") helps developers build and publish a developer portfolio quickly. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and how you can manage it.
What we collect
Anonymous use:
You may use Koderra without signing up. We store your portfolio data with a temporary session that you can lose if you sign out or clear browser data.
Account & auth:
email addresses (including via GitHub OAuth — we request user:email, public_repo and workflow to enable GitHub import + Pages deployment), GitHub username/repo metadata if you connect GitHub.
User content:
uploaded resumes, profile pictures, project images, and portfolio content (these are stored and displayed on your portfolio if you choose).
Payments:
billing information handled by Stripe (we only receive payment confirmations and basic billing metadata; Stripe stores full card details).
Usage & analytics:
site visits and basic analytics via Vercel Analytics (no custom events), and server logs to run the service.
Email:
transactional/notification emails sent via Resend.
How we use your data
We process data to provide the service and for legitimate business interests.
- To provide and operate the service (build, store and deploy your portfolio).
- To process payments and send receipts (via Stripe).
- To run GitHub imports and deploy to GitHub Pages when you grant OAuth permissions.
- To send account and support emails (via Resend).
- To analyze usage (basic analytics) and improve the product.
Storage & retention
Portfolio data and uploaded files are stored until you delete them or request deletion. Anonymous users may lose access to their data if they sign out.
If you request deletion, we will remove files from the live site and storage; backups or caches may persist for a short period. Contact support@koderra.io to request deletion.
Sharing & third parties
We use a small set of service providers: Supabase (DB, auth, storage), Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting & analytics), Resend (email), and GitHub (OAuth / repo creation). We do not sell personal data.
Data may be processed by US-based service providers.
Security
We protect data with standard industry measures, but no system is 100% secure. If you suspect a breach contact support@koderra.io immediately.
Your rights
You can request access, correction, deletion, or portability of your personal data by emailing support@koderra.io. We'll respond and take action within a reasonable time.
Age restriction
You must be at least 13 years old to use Koderra.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
